In the beginning

Of the roads we travel, all are unique and lead to the next adventure. Enjoy each and every one to the fullest., TT 2007

This is the first entry into the new blog. While nothing momentous is on the threshold, I feel the need to elaborate my feelings. Little known to most, I have often longed to be a writer.

On my mind today is the closeness of the Chiefs football season. Hubby, who just loves his iPhone, found a podcast on football to download and had the biggest childish grin on his face! He is like a kid in a candy shop.

I am reading my assessments from my corporate coach. It indicates that I am blunt and to the point. I could have saved the company a great deal of money by just telling them how I am!

News from the kids:

Jer/Les All is well, no word on a family addition (that is not canine) yet. But they seem to love their home. It is really handy to have them so close! Tara also is looking so much forward to "cat sitting" while they are on vacation.

Kat/Mat Wedding is done and they are back in Maine. We will miss them so much! The wedding was fun and soon I will post a few photos from it. Tara spent most of the night dancing with 'Jackson', this cute blond 11 year old boy. Kat looked gorgeous in her wedding attire and I know it probably went so fast for her. Matt looked like he was happy as well. It was good to meet all of his family and Max the ring 'burier' (as Tara calls it) was adorable.

And/Dan getting ready for their trip to Hawaii! And being a new 'CPCU' is great, I am proud. And had to come to the Kat/Mat wedding alone. That made me sad. Dan seems to miss many family opportunities. Hope things ease up for him soon. Haven't heard from his parents for a while, hope all is well. They have had some family tragedies to overcome.

Jus/Jul while not officially married, I think of them as a great team. They miss each other so much when they are apart. It is so sad that her family will not let her date him so they have to sneak around. In another couple of weeks they will be back in the school routine. Jus returned from the dentist...two crowns and a sore mouth. Sent Bob for ice cream and dried beef/cream cheese (his favorite). Spent hours with him trying to get his website up and running. Godaddy is the vendor and it is very difficult to design. I am somewhat perplexed by it. He has some fantastic art that many people want to view. I will show him how to set up a blog and see if that helps.

Bob2 has a new girlfriend. She seems nice but quiet. I am disappointed that Bob2 has cut Bob1 out of his life for the last several years. Sad....his dad loves him so.

Tara -- the dancing machine. Next week 4th grade begins! She is excited. She is growing up so tall and fast. I couldn't believe how she talked and talked to that boy at the wedding until she talked him into dancing with her. As I understand it, first she paid him with mints from the cake table, then later he offered to do it for free. So funny.

News from the GPa:

Dad got his hearing aid back fixed. YEAH! no more really loud yelling! Still bingoing. He is looking for anyone interested in going with him. I hate to BINGO, it is boring and my bottom hurts after a while.

News from Las Vegas:

Princess Di - I haven't heard from her in a while. Miss her alot

Dar/Jon - They are pregnant again! Appears all is well at this time, just got another e-mail from her, I had better respond.

News from our 'tayls':

Boo - same as usual, I would love to have a good family for her, she needs more love and attention.

Coco & BeBe - cute as ever. They still have trouble understanding that when they go out, they should do their business. But at night, when they go to bed with you, they are the best cuddlers and sleep as long as you want to!

Duchess - Love her so! Bob loves her the most. She is his doggie. Need to get her into puppy training before she gets too big. She ran on her leash and yanked my arm so hard that I cannot raise it today!

Another 'dog', another 'blog'...... See you!
