First Day of Fourth Grade

I am posting a picture from the wedding of all of our children (except Danny & Matt - we wish you two were in the photo too!!). When I downloaded it from the camera, it was so great to see them all together that it made tears come to my eyes.

Yes, it was Tara's first day back at school. It was only a half day and I think it went ok, but later she was supposed to meet some of the kids at the pool and a couple of girls were really rude to her. I know she was upset and tried not to show it. It hurts me so how 'girls' can be so mean to each other. This is the age it really starts to get bad. She however looked the best today in her Hannah Montana clothes, her hair ribbon and some cool paper clip earrings. The kids all didn't recognize her as her hair is short. Tomorrow is a full day and she has another 'killer cool' outfit. If nothing, she is always the coolest dressed kid.

Also, I forwarded the blog address to Darla and she has added some sweet comments. I miss her, John and the kids so much! I wish they had never left. Tara misses them too. Hopefully they will have a great year in school and come home to Kansas just like Dorothy some day.

Daddy just got home from Bingo. He probably thinks I am downstairs asleep, not upstairs on the computer. I hope he won, it seems to have been so long since he won big! He misses Diana and I just cannot go play Bingo. I pay for it with a sore throat for days and It takes hours (that I would rather be reading or working!). Anyway, I am glad he gets out and has people he can see other than just us. He worries too much about us and what is going on. I am not a 'regular' person, I don't have a set schedule at anything. I never wake up at the same time, I never go to bed at the same time and I don't even go to work daily at the same time!! I think my irregularity drives him nuts!!! Luckily Bob sees it as refreshing. He would be very regimented if not for me as he is a creature of habit. I am a creature that fears habit as much as I fear death. I have never smoked and I don't drink regularly, and I even stopped drinking diet coke as I know it was a habit..... I haven't even made it a habit to type in the blog. I will enter something when I want, but if you don't hear from me...don't worry. I am assuring I do not create a habit ;)

Well, It is late, Tara is asleep and I bet Bob is too. I better go read a book.....love and bye for now...
