I hesitate to bring this up, but Stephen King is moonlighting. As hard as it might be for you to believe, I have seen Stephen with my own eyes driving the number 161 bus that runs from Burkliplatz to Horhaldenstrasse.
It may very well be that he drives beyond our stop, but I have not had the courage to stay on.
Whether he uses an alias (as many of you are aware, he occasionally goes by Richard Bachman) or some other clever ruse, it seems to me it is more than coincidence that he has popped up in my neighborhood.
Now I have no qualms with someone putting in a little extra work to pick up a spare frank or two. The thing is, he has also shown up in other places as well.
Most recently SK sat in the seat directly in front of me on a return flight from Cologne, Germany. It has been a few weeks since I last encountered him. Perhaps he has returned to Maine. In any case, I will keep an eye pealed.
On a happier note, Tara was accepted in her new school that is closer to our apartment in Kilchberg. This will cut down on our commuting time considerably come August. She has recently started to walk with a fellow student named Justin from out train stop in Wallisellen. Last week, she actually walked by herself he few blocks to the school from there.
This was probably overdue. Kids here travel alone everyday on public transportation. We've seen them as young as 8 on the trams, trains and buses. In the public schools, they send the kids home for lunch, expecting that the Mom's will be there to feed them
Duchess and Coco are thriving these days. Gabriella, Duchess' dog walker (and pet psychic) tells us Duchess is socialising just fine with the other dogs on her daily walks. Gabriella did recommend that Duchess go on a new diet. She said we could get the local butcher to save the rabbit pieces and and cow entrails.
Yummy.

Wow, very interesting, exciting stuff! Tara is just sprouting so tall! Siobhan is beginning to learn how to use her email account. So if Tara gets some strange emails from her, it's because Siobhan isn't that good at it yet. I just love looking at the pictures!
